Our G Road Test Prep course is designed to cover everything students need to know for the G road test, helping them develop the skills and confidence necessary to pass. Here’s a breakdown of what’s covered in the course:
Advanced Driving Techniques: The G road test evaluates advanced driving skills, such as smooth lane changes, merging onto highways, proper speed control, and confident decision-making. Instructors will coach students through these skills, focusing on areas that need improvement.
Practice on Test Routes: Familiarity with the test route can greatly reduce test-day anxiety. Our instructors guide students through the actual routes used in the G road test, ensuring they are comfortable with common route challenges, such as highway merging, lane changes, and navigating complex intersections. This real-world practice helps students feel more prepared and confident.
Vehicle for the G Road Test: We provide a fully insured, test-ready vehicle for students to use on the day of their G test, eliminating the stress of arranging a vehicle and ensuring students have a reliable car that meets MTO testing standards. This also allows students to become familiar with the car they’ll use on test day, increasing their comfort and confidence.
What is Tested on the Ontario G Road Test?

- Maintaining Speed and Distance: Testers evaluate the driver’s ability to follow speed limits, adjust speed as needed, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
- Navigating Intersections and Complex Traffic Scenarios: Students are tested on their ability to navigate complex intersections, make safe left and right turns, and yield to pedestrians and other vehicles as appropriate.
